The idea of a power tool for cable ties tightening was born in 2012 thanks to a partnership between Alpes DEIS and Renault Trucks-Volvo. The group called on the electronic design office because it was facing numerous cases of occupational disorders on production lines. Indeed, manual tools, which are mainly used, are a source of musculoskeletal disorders (MSD). These are therefore the cause of repeated absences, problems in reclassifying employees, but also a drop in efficiency.

These clamps therefore enable you to protect the health of the user and improve productivity. The ergonomics and the motorisation of the tool also prove to offer a better repetitiveness of the tightening and thus a higher quality of work.
