Eco-Design for ADT Tools: what's new?

Successive work sessions supported by ADEME have led to sort out areas of improvement for ADT Tools. We have initiated 3 main steps:

check mark
Exhaustive analysis of the current environmental impact of legacy products: sourcing, parts, carbon footprint of freight…

check mark
Advanced listing of raw material use, mineral and chemical resources, scarce resources and ways of improvement.

check mark
Investigation of a recycling process for End of Life (EOL) products.

Eco-design approach, study and result

What’s next?

check mark
We are now deploying our action plan, starting with quick wins on existing ADT Tools product: for instance, reduce the number of blades provided along the tools lifecycle.

Your interest and implication will greatly help us in the deployment of the upcoming actions. More to come in the next Newsletters!

The first result

Recycling of ADT Tools

On the note of improvement study and deployment of action, one of the most impactful action would be the recycling and even reconditioning of old equipment.
